My Experience and Education
My office is in a suburb of Washington, D.C. and is within minutes of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. I am admitted to practice law before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and the Supreme Court of the United States. I am a member of the Maryland bar. I graduated with a degree in engineering (B.S.E.E.) from Duke University and I graduated from Georgetown University Law School in 1968. I have been a registered patent attorney for over thirty years. I was a patent examiner in the U.S. Patent Office and a patent advisor for the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, D.C. I have had over thirty years broad patent experience in most technical fields, and I have obtained hundreds of patents for my clients. Every year since 1981, I have been awarded the highest rating for legal ability, ethical standards, professional reliability and diligence by the internationally respected Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory.
